HP has a new invention, dubbed LightScribe, which enables CD and DVD writer drives to burn a silk screen-like, high-contrast label on the upper side of CD or DVD media bearing a special coating. After completing a data burn, users will be prompted to flip the disc over to burn a label onto the other side.

Pretty neat, though you’ll have to use media compatible with their special drives.

Just a note that Mozilla Backup 1.3a has been released.

Mozilla Backup is a freeware utility for creating backups of Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird and Netscape profiles.

It allows you to backup mail, favorites, contacts, and so forth.
