Nanny 911

Alright, I admit it, this show has quickly become a guilty pleasure for me.

I don’t have kids nor am I married, so I often sit watching these people and wonder if I would fall into the same traps. I can identify most of the problems in the relationships pretty easily, but always find myself clueless as to how they should be fixed until the nanny of the week lays it all out for me.

I think I don’t feel as guilty watching this show as I would any other Fox reality series if only because while it draws your attention for the “people behaving badly” factor early in an episode, the show actually involves people being given good advice and attempting to fix their family.

G4TechTV becomes G4

G4TechTV, the result of a merger between Comcast’s G4 gaming channel and TechTV, has released a press release stating that they will be dropping TechTV from their name in mid-February of this year.

The press release goes on to mention two new shows, Formula D and Girls Gone Wired, which only proves that Comcast only purchased TechTV to inflate the number of houses their gaming channel reached, much to the chagrin of the long-time fans of the technology channel that once had such great and helpful shows as Call For Help,

RIP TechTV.

Tucker Carlson gone from CNN

It appears that CNN has said goodbye to Tucker Carlson, one of the four hosts of CNN’s Crossfire known for the on-air “disagreement” between himself and Daily Show host Jon Stewart.

The best quote from the article comes from CNN’s Chief Executive Jonathan Klein:

“I guess I come down more firmly in the Jon Stewart camp,” Klein told The Associated Press.
