Metropolis Magazine has a fascinating look into the architecture of Google's new corporate headquarters in a piece called Behind the Glass Curtain .

Some of the design choices are very striking, yet perfectly in line with what one would expect from the popular search engine company. 

This music video is to the 1940s what Robert Palmer's "Simply Irresistible" was to the 1980s.

The real action, however, happens about a minute into the video when the bass player explodes out of nowhere making you wonder just how much caffeine they give him before each performance.
