Apple to Replace Defective Nano Screens
Thursday, September 29th, 2005ZDNet is reporting that Apple has acknowledged a manufacturing flaw in some iPod nano screens that can result in it cracking under normal use.
While Apple is allowing nano owners with defective screens to contact Applecare for a free replacement, the company has stated that the problem is from a specific part vendor and only affects less than one-tenth of 1 percent of the nanos currently in stores.
