ZDNet is reporting that Apple has acknowledged a manufacturing flaw in some iPod nano screens that can result in it cracking under normal use.

While Apple is allowing nano owners with defective screens to contact Applecare for a free replacement, the company has stated that the problem is from a specific part vendor and only affects less than one-tenth of 1 percent of the nanos currently in stores.

Owners of ATI video cards may be interested to know that the company has released version 5.9 of their Catalyst drivers. The release notes with a full list of changes may be found here.

Chris Lanier posted two screenshots of the beta version of Windows Vista Media Center Edition on his blog recently.
