Geeks and the City

It’s no secret that sometimes male geeks don’t quite get into the same culture that non-geek women enjoy, such as HBO’s upcoming Sex and the City movie. To help investigate this strange and alien world, Geek Squad agents Ish Matos and Donald Barthelemy boarded one of many Sex and the City guided tours that take fans through the same locations featured in the series.

Fortunately, no agents were harmed during the making of this video.

GTA IV - UK TV Commercial

Grand Theft Auto IV will make it’s April 29th arrival in the US well known with the usual barrage of in-your-face television commercials, but this overseas example from the UK and Ireland does a really great job in a somewhat more subdued approach.

Most of the US commercials to date seem to have gone for advertising the insane action that another GTA entry brings, but the UK ad makes an effort to point out just how much more of a fully realized and interactive game world, arguably one of the main selling points of the series, this latest version has compared even to previous entries in the line.

Little Yellow Robotic Drum Machine

This little mobile percussion bot uses on-board sensors to find an object to drum on, then proceeds to beat out some entertaining rhythms before moving on to its next target.
