According to GamesIndustry.biz, sales of Sony’s Playstation 3 video game console hardware have dropped an amazing 82% during the second week of release in the United Kingdom.

The UK:Resistance website has a number of rather telling photos of sales of the system around Europe.

Sales of the Sony’s console have been notoriously low since the much-hyped release in the US last year. Meanwhile, XBox 360s have continued to post steady sales and the Nintendo Wii is still a sell-out in most stores around the country.
